At B&W, we have been working on MBD for some time now. We were happy to to pass this knowledge on to you as part of a two-day event. Find some impressions below.
Event Review
On October 22nd and 23rd, the MBD Talk&Tools took place and attracted numerous experts and interested parties from various industries. The focus of the event was the question of how MBD can advance digitization and automation in product development and manufacturing.
Inspiring Presentations and In-Depth Insights
The event offered a varied program with a wide range of expert talks. The event was opened with a keynote by Jan Stothfang, which looked back on the beginnings of MBD and shed light on current challenges.
During the day, our experts presented practical insights into topics such as:
- The introduction of MBD in companies: Strategies and challenges
- Innovation: New tools and software solutions for MBD
- Future in Creo Parametric: Roadmap in the areas of MBD, sustainability, and AI
A special highlight was the presentation by Christoph von Andrian-Werbourg, who vividly explained how PTC can support MBD in Creo®.
Current Trends and Outlook
In addition to technical aspects, cultural and organizational challenges were also addressed. Several presentations emphasized that MBD is not just a technological project but requires a change in processes and mindsets.
Networking and Exchange
The event was completed with a special dinner, where experts and participants discussed the future of MBD and possible next steps. The breaks and offered participants the opportunity to network and exchange experiences, too.
